KNI: “From the survey results, it is clear that openness about Yeshua (Jesus) in the Israeli army is indeed the new “normal”. Of those Messianic soldiers asked by KNI, a remarkable 96% say that their fellow soldiers know of their belief in Yeshua as the Messiah. Possibly even more remarkable is that 78% of their commanders or officers know of their belief in Yeshua.”

Plus, 30% of Messianic soldiers report having another Messianic soldier in their unit, which is pretty demographically remarkable given how rare Yeshua belief was in Israel just a generation ago.

We have actually heard this before from an Israeli family whose four sons have all served, with the youngest, just finished! The entire family to include grandparents expressed to us that they did not care much of What one’s faith consisted …If Messianic or Christian….if that young person serves well in the military…they are O.K! I dare say that while Messianics in the military may be a ‘new normal’ in the eyes of some….the conversations being held regarding their faith may be more limited!
