Ha’aretz reports a find of high-quality textiles in the Timna copper mines (20 north of Eliat, the southern tip of Israel) dating back to the 10th century BCE.

I’d be interested in the “vegetable dye” they used for the color blue.  I’ve seen Second Temple examples of  what was believed to be the “tekhelet” color.  Does this find hint at how people in Davidic times would have interpreted the Numbers 15:37-40 mitzvah?
